Whether it’s a great athlete, a great student, a great musician…or a great disciple. If we want to be great at following Jesus, there’s a cost. But there’s also an unimaginable reward!

But a woman named Catherine Rohr has started a program to reduce that number, and so far she’s got it down to less than 5%! What’s our return rate, as Christians? We’ve been released from our own prisons of sin, so what can we do to keep from getting “locked up” again?

There are a lot of different types of fear out there—fear of insects, fear of heights. But a common one among all creatures is a fear of being disciplined. Whether it’s a brand new puppy or a grown man, we’d rather run away than be scolded or punished. And yet God says that discipline, especially by Him, is something we not only shouldn’t fear, but we should welcome.
